This innovative process combines the original AI-generated mix, isolated stems, and traditional multitrack mixing techniquesto transform AI-generated audio into a more polished, commercially competitive production. Our HDAP Mixing delivers greater clarity, dynamics, impact, separation, and emotional presence—producing a finished mix that sounds markedly better than the original AI-generated version.

Take Your Mixes Further
Normal editing, automation, timing correction, processing, and mix refinement required to create a professional finished mix are already included. Premium Upgrades apply only when a project requires unusually extensive corrective, restorative, editing, or production work beyond the normal mixing process.
#1 = Editing & Correction
Creating tight, polished, professional performances that convey optimal impact.
Time Alignment - Extensive timing correction can tighten performances and improve the interaction between tracks while preserving their natural feel. Complex alignment is carefully managed to maintain phase coherency and avoid transient smearing, comb filtering, and other sonic issues.
Complex Audio Editing - For recordings requiring extensive repair or correction beyond normal mix preparation. This may include spectral repair, advanced noise reduction, phase correction, detailed event editing, audio reconstruction, and other specialized corrective processes.
Complex Automation - Standard mix automation is included with every mix. Complex Automation provides detailed, moment-by-moment control to enhance dynamics and emotion—from the ending of a vocal phrase or rise of a guitar passage to the explosive impact of a drum fill or tenderness of a piano interlude.
Vocal Tuning - Detailed pitch correction for performances requiring more than minor adjustments. Vocal tuning is approached musically—correcting distracting pitch issues while preserving the character, expression, and natural qualities of the performance.
#2 - Tone & Production Enhancement
Shaping the sonic identity of your track to bring out maximum sonic benefit.
Drum Replacement/Sample Reinforcement - Due to various factors such as genre, condition of the drum heads, recording quality, and performance inconsistencies, drum tracks may benefit from replacement techniques or sample reinforcement to improve their tone, consistency, impact, and relationship to the rest of the mix.
Reamping - If DI tracks (Direct Injection) were recorded during the initial tracking process, we can further enhance your electric guitar and bass sounds with our impressive collection of digital reamping plugins/VSTs. This technique is often used to improve the tone, clarity, power, and overall role of guitar and bass tracks within a mix. From subtle atmospheric textures to full-on high gain rock leads—Nexus Soundworx has you covered.
Additional Instrumentation - Some songs and arrangements may benefit from additional instrumentation to enhance the vision of the song. This may involve supplemental strings, pianos, guitars, vocals, or even something as simple as a tambourine. Nexus Soundworx can identify the need for these elements and add them to elevate a song to new levels of impact and emotion.
#3 - Lead Vocal Comping
Building the perfect vocal performance as the crowning jewel of your mix.
It’s often the case that a client may have recorded several lead vocal takes to later create a single composite track from the best sections of each performance. However, they may opt to let the producer/engineer create the composite track used in the mix due to their expertise, experience, and trained ears. Lead vocals are admittedly the “star of the show” and always demand careful consideration. Nexus Soundworx can provide the musical and technical prowess to create a powerful and emotional lead vocal performance track from multiple takes that will stand out in your mix.
#4 - HDAP Enhancement
Taking your AI production to another level.
For clients who want to move beyond our standard HDAP Mixing Service, Nexus Soundworx offers an optional premium enhancement service. Designed to further improve the fidelity, realism, dynamics, and technical quality of AI-generated audio, the HDAP Enhancement Upgrade adds more intensive editing, enhancement, and corrective processing beyond our standard HDAP Mixing Service.
